Ramaswamy in December 2023: “We need to expose the Epstein client list. We’re fighting corruption & no one will be spared.”
Columbus, OH – Today, Democratic candidate for Ohio Governor Dr. Amy Acton once again called on Vivek Ramaswamy to follow through on previous promises and stand with her in urging for the full release of the Jeffrey Epstein files, citing the urgent need for transparency and accountability in cases of systemic abuse.
“Yesterday, we heard from survivors of abuse bravely telling their stories, seeking both transparency and accountability. We as leaders must echo their demand. The Epstein Files represent more than a criminal investigation—they are a chance to show victims everywhere that no one is above the law,” said Dr. Acton. “Here in Ohio, we know too well the lasting pain of large-scale abuse scandals. Especially given that recent history, Ohio’s next Governor must send a clear message that our first loyalty will always be to the people, not to protecting the powerful.”
Calling this both a moral and leadership test, Dr. Acton urged her opponent, Vivek Ramaswamy, to join the bipartisan demand for the files’ full release.
“This is not a partisan issue,” Dr. Acton said. “As a victim of abuse myself, let me say this clearly: survivors deserve truth, transparency, and justice. I am asking Mr. Ramaswamy to follow through on his previous promises and show Ohioans that he stands with victims too, and together we can insist on accountability at every level.”
On July 25, Dr. Acton called for the release of the files, and urged for Mr. Ramawasmy to do the same. Her X account was suspended shortly after. There are countless instances of Mr. Ramaswamy calling for the release of the files during his run for President in 2023, citing “transparency” and “ending corruption,” but he has been silent on the matter since.
