Dr. Amy Acton on The Last Word: “I’m Fighting to Make Sure That Everyone Gets a Fair Shot in Ohio”
COLUMBUS, OH– Yesterday, Dr. Acton appeared on MS NOW’s The Last Word to discuss her support for a conditional moratorium on data centers and highlight the sharp contrast with her out-of-touch billionaire opponent Vivek Ramaswamy, who has millions personally invested in data centers and has spent nearly $700,000 on private jet travel while Dr. Acton continues to meet voters, in her Jeep, across the state. Dr Acton spoke about her relentless focus on tackling the everyday issues Ohioans are facing by bringing down costs and making Ohio more affordable for everyone.

- “Mr. Vivek Ramaswamy, one of the most famous scam artists, did run for president once and made his money in ‘pump and dump’ schemes touting an Alzheimer’s cure that he said would help people – he knew the drug didn’t work.”
- “He cut out of that deal right before the results were made public, leaving a lot of people and their retirements in the lurch. I remember that name [Vivek Ramaswamy]. I think Ohioans are going to remember that name this fall.”
- “I am up against a self-funding billionaire who has spent [$700,000] on airplanes. I’ve been driving around Ohio for two and a half years now in an old Jeep.”
- “He is not just out of touch, he’s out for himself, and quite frankly, he’s a danger to Ohio and the rest of this country.”
