Here’s what they’re saying:
“Dr. Amy Acton has displayed incredible leadership skills including through a time of national crisis,” said Cincinnati Vice Mayor Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney. “Her intelligence, compassion for all people, and leadership skills prove that she has the ability to move us forward. We need Dr. Amy Acton to be our next governor.”
“We need a leader in Amy Acton to return Ohio to a state where everyone can thrive regardless of their zip code,” said Cincinnati City Councilmember Mark Jeffreys.
“Dr. Acton brings the rare combination of being widely respected across the state for her leadership, but as a doctor—not a politician,” said former Ohio Democratic Party Chair David Pepper. “That puts her in an ideal position to not only win the Governor’s race, but to clean up Columbus and lead the state in a new direction after years of corruption and decline. She is a once-in-a-generation candidate and I am proud to endorse her.”
“Dr. Acton showed great leadership as Ohio’s Health Director, and will make a great governor,” said District 25 State Representative Cecil Thomas.
“I’m honored to have so many great leaders from Southwest Ohio joining our campaign,” said Dr. Acton. “I thank them for their dedication to their communities and for their support, and I look forward to working alongside them to turn our state around.”
In the coming days and weeks the campaign will continue to roll out endorsements from SW Ohio and across the state. You can learn more about Amy at www.actonforgovernor.com.
