FACT CHECK: Latest Ramaswamy Super PAC Ad Distracts from His Own Anti-Public Safety Record
COLUMBUS, OH— After spending $35 million on ads without moving the needle, Vivek Ramaswamy’s out-of-state billionaire funded Super PAC is once again spreading lies about Dr. Amy Acton with another desperate ad.
In reality, Dr. Acton is a common sense, pragmatic public servant who worked for Republican Governor Mike DeWine, does not support illegal immigration, and believes in enforcing state and federal laws on illegal immigrants. In a clear attempt to mislead Ohioans, the ad conveniently omits the full clip of Dr. Acton saying, “we would all agree that criminals should not be on our streets.”
Meanwhile, Vivek Ramaswamy has called to eliminate the FBI, his scam property tax plan would gut funding for police, and his own family bodyguard was arrested on fentanyl drug trafficking charges.
