Acton Campaign Releases Response Ad: “Abuse”
COLUMBUS, OH– Today, Dr. Amy Acton’s campaign for Governor released a new ad, “Abuse,” in response to Vivek Ramaswamy’s disgusting ad featuring Dr. Acton’s estranged and abusive mother, who remained married to Dr. Acton’s rapist until the day he died.
The response ad features Dr. Acton’s brother, Phil Stearns, who speaks out about the abuse he and Dr. Acton experienced during their childhood.

I received a lot of abuse, but Amy always got the worst of it.
She continued to receive that abuse, because she knew she had to protect me from that, and that if she hadn’t done that, who knows where I would have ended up?
When she was 11 and 12 years old, and to think that that’s somehow a talking point.
Shame on Vivek.
It’s the contempt he has for Amy.
It’s the contempt he has for Ohio.
He’s not fit to lead.
