Dr. Amy Acton Announces Record-Breaking $10.4 Million Raised
Historic $5.2M raised since last filing outraises Ramaswamy total, excluding self funding loan
COLUMBUS, OH – Today, Ohio gubernatorial candidate Dr. Amy Acton announced her campaign has raised over $10.4 million to date – a historic haul for a Democratic candidate for governor in Ohio that demonstrates robust enthusiasm for her candidacy.
The Acton campaign enters the next phase of the race with clear momentum and support from every corner of the Buckeye State. The campaign received more than 84,000 individual donations, with more than 195,000 donations total. More than 95% of contributions were $100 or less, with an average grassroots donation of $29. 65% of donations came from Ohio residents, showcasing the strong grassroots support for Dr. Amy Acton from across Ohio. The pace of Acton’s fundraising continues to increase monthly.
“An enthusiastic coalition of Ohio residents from all 88 counties are fired up to vote for Dr. Amy Acton in November, and these historic fundraising numbers are proof that Ohioans are ready for change,” said Acton Campaign Manager Phil Stein. “Ohioans are sick and tired of struggling to make ends meet.
