Dr. Amy Acton Announces Record-Breaking $4.8 Million Raised in First Quarter of 2026
Historic Q1 haul powered by over 76,000 individual donations from supporters in all 88 Ohio counties
COLUMBUS, OH – Today, Ohio gubernatorial candidate Dr. Amy Acton announced her campaign raised more than $9.3 million to date – the most ever raised at this point in the calendar by a Democratic candidate for governor in the state’s history. In the first quarter of 2026 alone, the campaign raised more than $4.8 million, topping its fundraising from the entirety of 2025. The campaign enters Q2 with strong momentum, historic grassroots support, and clear enthusiasm from voters across the state.
The campaign received more than 76,000 individual donations in Q1, with more than 172,000 donations total. More than 95% of contributions were $100 or less, with an average grassroots donation of just $29. 66% of donations came from Ohio residents, showcasing the strong grassroots support for Dr. Amy Acton from every corner of the Buckeye State.
