Dr. Amy Acton Announces Record-Breaking $9.4 Million Raised in the Second Quarter of 2026
Historic Q2 haul powered by over 153,000 individual donations from supporters in all 88 Ohio counties
COLUMBUS, OH – Today, Ohio gubernatorial candidate Dr. Amy Acton announced her campaign raised more than $18.4 million to date – the most ever raised by a Democratic candidate for governor at this point in the state’s history. In the second quarter of 2026, the campaign raised nearly $9.4 million, including $3.6 million in the month of June, and has nearly $10 million cash-on-hand. The campaign enters Q3 with strong momentum, historic grassroots support, and clear enthusiasm from voters across the state.
The campaign received more than 153,000 individual donations in Q2, with more than 326,000 donations total. More than 95% of contributions were $100 or less, with an average grassroots donation of just $25. Over half of all donations came from Ohio residents, showcasing the strong grassroots support for Dr. Amy Acton from every corner of the Buckeye State.
“This historic fundraising haul makes it clear that Ohioans across the state are ready to elect Dr. Amy Acton as Ohio’s next governor,” said Campaign Manager Philip Stein. “Unlike her out-of-touch billionaire opponent Vivek Ramaswamy, Ohioans know that Amy is the only candidate who is focused on bringing down costs and making life more affordable for Ohio’s working families.”
