Dr. Amy Acton Meets Ohioans in Steubenville for a Roundtable on Healthcare Costs
Yesterday, Dr. Amy Acton joined Ohioans in Steubenville to hear firsthand about the struggles they face to afford basic healthcare and share her plans to protect Medicaid and Medicare, relieve medical debt, lower prescription drug costs, and ensure every Ohioan has access to the care they deserve.
“The number one cost that I’m hearing about is healthcare costs. People are working harder than ever and there is no more breathing room,” said Dr. Amy Acton. “As governor, I want to see our healthcare be top notch. We’re going to be working on programs that lower prescription drug prices and eliminate medical debt in the state.”
