Dr. Amy Acton Rallies with Thousands of Ohioans in Cleveland
CLEVELAND, OH– Today, Dr. Amy Acton joined President Barack Obama in Cleveland to rally thousands of energized Ohio voters who are sick and tired of struggling and are ready for change.
“[Amy Acton] will cut taxes for as many as 775,000 Ohio families to lower costs and put money in your pockets. And lift people out of poverty. She understands childcare shouldn’t bust the family budget, so she’ll make childcare more affordable,” said President Barack Obama. “Forgive medical debt because no one should go broke because they need a medical procedure, and on day one as governor, she will sign anti-corruption executive orders to make sure Ohio’s government is working for Ohioans and not special interests. Amy Acton is not in this to be some kind of political celebrity. She’s in it for you.”
“Hope is what drives this campaign. That when we’re in this together, we can make life better for Ohioans. We have hope, but hear me now, we have a plan on day one to make life better for working families,” said Dr. Amy Acton. “As governor, I will alleviate medical debt, fully fund our public schools, make childcare affordable, lower utility bills, make sure our parents age in place with dignity, lower healthcare costs.
