JON HUSTED & FRANK LAROSE CALL OUT VIVEK RAMASWAMY: “I WOULD NOT HAVE RUN THAT AD”

COLUMBUS, OH– Today, Ohio Republicans including Senator Jon Husted and Secretary of State Frank LaRose are calling out Vivek Ramaswamy for what nationally is being billed as the “scummiest, sleaziest ad in American history.”

Despite widespread uproar, Ramaswamy doubled down on airing his disturbing ad featuring Dr. Acton’s estranged and abusive mother, who stayed married to Amy’s rapist until he died – and now, Husted and LaRose are sharing a crystal clear message for Ramaswamy:

Senator Jon Husted: “I would not have run that ad.”

Secretary of State Frank LaRose: “I probably wouldn’t run an ad like that.”

“The fact that prominent elected statewide Republicans are choosing to publicly condemn this ad is further proof of just how desperate and morally corrupt Vivek Ramaswamy really is,” said Addie Bullock, spokesperson for the Acton campaign. “He has spent this entire campaign showing Ohioans that he is nothing more than an out-of-touch billionaire scam artist who is more focused on himself than helping Ohioans, and will stop at nothing — even if that means lying about and weaponize Dr. Acton’s childhood sexual abuse — to try to get what he wants.”
