The Toledo Blade Editorial Board: Acton has plan to fight corruption
TOLEDO, OH– Today, the Toledo Blade Editorial Board praised Dr. Amy Acton’s plan to combat corruption in Ohio, writing that her “anti-corruption plan demands serious consideration from voters” and that she “deserves credit for correctly diagnosing Ohio government’s most serious lingering malady.”
The Toledo Blade noted that Dr. Acton is “likely to stand alone” on tackling the cost of corruption as “cynical Ohio Republicans” like Vivek Ramaswamy “are convinced voters don’t care” and “have made it clear they aren’t concerned about corruption.”

- No man can serve two masters. Lobbyists work for their clients even when, or especially when, they’re on a state board or commission.
- Cynical Ohio Republicans are convinced voters don’t care about corruption so Dr. Acton is likely to stand alone on this issue.
