International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 6 Endorses Dr. Amy Acton’s Campaign for Governor
COLUMBUS, OH – The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 6 endorsed Amy Acton’s campaign for governor, citing her commitment to fighting for working families and leading with labor values as Governor of Ohio.
Dr. Acton has been endorsed by several key labor groups in Ohio, including the Ohio Federation of Teachers, the United Auto Workers, the Communications Workers of America, the American Federations of State, County, and Municipal Employees, and the United Mine Workers of America.
“The working class of Ohio doesn’t have time for red or blue partisan issues. We need action. Dr. Amy Acton understands what it means to work for a living and knows what issues are important to working class voters like the members of my union. IUPAT District Council 6 is proud to endorse Amy, she’s the clear choice to move our state towards a better future,” said International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 6 Business Manager Secretary Jim Sherwood.
